Gallery 65 on William
opened July 2, 2011 in downtown New Bedford at 65 William Street. This exciting gallery features fine contemporary art and craft, exhibiting established artists from Greater New Bedford, Cape Cod and Greater Boston. Artists of the holiday open studios at the Cove and Hatch Street mill buildings are some of the founders of the gallery.

Paintings, drawings, prints and mixed media works grace the walls while innovative fine furniture, textiles, fiber art and fashion, jewelry, sculpture, ceramics and glass fill the gallery with texture and color. The gallery features art and design in a wide range of prices from cards and affordable gifts to art and fine craft for collectors. Workshops and special events are planned throughout the year, and during every AHA! on second Thursdays.

Open Monday through Sunday

Weekdays 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
Saturdays 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
Sunday 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm

Also, during the Summer the gallery is open on Thursday nights from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

The gallery features special events and activities during AHA! Nights on the second Thursday of each month. See the AHA! New Bedford website for more information.


Directions

Take exit 15 from I-195 onto Route 18 into downtown New Bedford.

Turn right at the light for Elm Street.

Go up the hill, past the Elm Street Parking Garage.

Turn left on Acushnet Avenue.

Gallery 65 on William is located on the corner of Acushnet Ave. and William Street.


Parking

Parking is plentiful in downtown New Bedford.

Park in the Elm Street Garage or the Custom House  Square parking lot for a reasonable fee. Also, there are spaces available at metered and unmetered spots throughout the city - within walking distance of the gallery.
